FAQ

How much preparation does it take to pass the IELTS exam?
It all depends on your current level and the score you need to get: only knowing these two components, we will be able to comment on the timing. On average, it takes at least 2 months of classes to master the exam format (based on 2 lessons per week). If there is a need to improve the level of the language or work on gaps that make it difficult to get a desired band, additional work will be required. It is also possible to conduct express courses in an individual / group format.
Does your language school offer other services besides IELTS preparation?
Certainly! You can also contact us for raising your English level in general - for work, study, travel, passing a language exam, preparing for an interview and for other more specific requests.
How can I choose the right tutor?
Leave a request, and we will select a suitable tutor for you depending on your preferences (a Russian-speaking tutor or a native speaker, gender, age, qualifications). You will also have the opportunity to attend a trial lesson :)
Do you provide guarantees for passing the IELTS exam?
Successful outcome depends on many factors. Our formula of success: of course, the qualifications of the tutor and their expertise + responsible approach and perseverance of the student + luck - an easy / suitable option for you / easy or your favorite tasks + good health on the day of the exam. We guarantee the high qualification of teachers, an effective training program and tracking the latest changes. We will do our best to ensure that you come to the day of the exam as prepared as possible!
I do not live in Moscow, what about the time difference?
Our tutors are located in different time zones - Moscow, Perm, London, Barcelona - so we will have the opportunity to agree on the most convenient time for everyone!
What do I need to study? Do I need to buy something?
For classes, you need a stable Internet connection and a device - preferably a laptop or smartphone. All necessary materials will be provided in electronic form, if desired, they can be ordered in printed format in the online store.
What knowledge base do I need to have to successfully prepare for the IELTS exam?
It all depends on the score you need to get. The amount of skills and knowledge that you need to have at 6.0 will be significantly different from what you need to be able to demonstrate at 8.0! In general, since most universities require 5.0 and above, your minimum entry level to start preparing for the exam should be A2+\B1.
I am 14\30\40\... years old, is it too late/early for me to start preparing for the IELTS exam?
Everything depends on your current level and the score you need to get: only knowing these two components, we will be able to comment on the timing. It is important to correlate your current level with the CEFR scale according to the European language proficiency documents. On average, it takes about 2 months of classes to master the exam format (based on 2 lessons per week). The most important thing is to understand all formats of the writing part and learn to complete it within the time given. If there is a need to improve your command of the language or work on some weaknesses that make it difficult to complete tasks for the desired band, of course, additional months of work will be required. In our language studio we also provide intensive express courses in individual and group format - for those who urgently decided to take the exam or those who are confident in their level, but want to be confident in the format as well.
How much time does it take to do homework?
It all depends on your availability, current level and the desired result. Ideally, you need to consistently do homework 2 times a week, but if you are not in a hurry, then work without it is possible. Everyone has their own pace, the main thing is the regularity of interacting with the language!
