I took IELTS in December 2019, it was necessary for the master’s degree. The minimum threshold score for the dream program was 7.0. I had the experience of learning a foreign language, I seemed to speak fluently, but international exams are always difficult for students with their structure and requirements, so I decided to contact the tutor. Before the exam, there was not much time left when I turned to Victoria.

The teacher intelligibly explained the whole structure, explained how to take writing, hated by many students, correctly. The tasks were very informative and interesting, they even managed to improve my vocabulary. I also want to note that Victoria is very pleasant in communication, so the fear of saying something wrong was minimized, there was no embarrassment, and the classes were held in a very pleasant atmosphere, which is important.

We made a special emphasis on Writing and Speaking with Victoria, because those were my weakest points. Worked online for about 2 months.

I really liked that all types of assignments were structured on a special platform, thanks to which it was convenient to study independently, honing what was done during online classes. And already before the exam, I regularly used this platform to memorize different constructions, peek at the “advanced” vocabulary and email frameworks – it’s very, very convenient!

During the classes I was on a business trip and had a busy work schedule, I was worried that there would not be enough time to prepare for the required score.

Special thanks to Victoria for always quickly finding me exercises for any topics that I additionally requested from her, and explaining everything in detail – I finally figured out all the tenses, articles and punctuation. Again, a perfectly structured presentation, everything is clear and to the point.

As a result: Overall 8.0 (L9.0, R9.0, W7.0, S7.5) and a lot of positive emotions from the classes)) I plan to use the certificate for admission to the master’s program in business in Europe.

For admission to the master’s program, an IELTS certificate was required. But there was little time to prepare for the exam, and therefore, with Victoria, the classes began intensively. The material was laid out in the most detailed and understandable way, additionally Victoria gave explanations and assignments for consolidation. In the classroom, a lot of time was devoted to theory and necessarily exercises to consolidate the material, which contributed to high-quality learning.

In the shortest possible time, Victoria helped me effectively prepare for the exam and score the required score, 7.0, for admission to the master’s program, for which I am very grateful to Victoria.

Thanks to Victoria, I prepared for the IELTS exam in a short time and used the certificate to enter a university in Canada. Lots of information and diagrams regarding the writing part of the exam. It was easier and clearer to study on the Wordriser website.

This summer I took Victoria’s author’s training on teaching “IELTS Academic”. To say that I was satisfied is to say nothing. For 2 months, I not only learned the details and features of the exam format, but also created a whole database for myself in the form of presentations and manuals for future classes with students. Victoria did not challenge us with compiling huge lesson plans, but on the contrary, she inspired us to take as little time as possible to prepare for classes. In addition, I liked the fact that the course itself, as well as chatting with teachers and students, took place exclusively in English. Maximum immersion, so to say.

I definitely recommend the course to those teachers who have long wanted to teach IELTS, but did not dare to do it. After finishing it, you will gain self-confidence, get a lot of valuable advice, and also establish useful contacts with like-minded people.

After each session with students, I felt that I was gaining more and more valuable experience. Every time I had a successful lesson, I had a feeling of success, happiness and joy, as if a second wind opens up and wings grow behind my back. All thanks to Victoria who gradually, step by step, guided me throughout the course, gave me valuable advice on what needs to be corrected, etc. Even with two diplomas with honours, I did not feel as confident as after this wonderful training! My dream – to prepare students for IELTS – has come true 🙂

Point A: Overall 7.5 (L7.5, R8.0, W6.5, S7.0). The goal was a minimum of 7.0 in each section, with the main problem being a lack of understanding of the writing and speaking assessment criteria. The certificate was necessary to obtain a work visa in Australia (in the IT field). With only 1.5 months left and a large family – a husband and two children – Nadezhda worried that she wouldn’t have enough time to prepare properly and allocate time for preparation due to all her responsibilities.

Point B: Overall 8.0, C1 (L8.5, R7.5, W7.0, S8.0). Thanks to consistent work twice a week in classes and regular writing of essays at home, Nadezhda overcame the 6.5 barrier in the writing section – the biggest problem for most students – and also improved her score in the speaking and listening sections by 1 point!
